        Department of Water Resources Engineering is one of ten departments in the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University (KU), Bangkok, Thailand. In 1985, the department had established Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) program in Water Resources Engineering. In 1997, a special program on Master of Engineering (water resources engineering) was initiated to serve the needs for experts in water resources field. We are now (2016) on the 25th class. As of now, we have already produced more than 180 graduates to serve for both government and private sectors.

Our Objectives

  1. To produce professional engineers with strong technical knowledge and ethical behavior to be a major part inwater resources development and management of the country.
  2. To open an opportunity for those who work in the field of water resources for enhance their knowledge in this field by studying during weekends.
  3. To promote appropriate technologies and knowledge for more efficiently water resources management.

Course Information

        The program aims to prepare professional engineers for leadership positions in academia, public and private sectors, our program focuses on research and advanced application in complicated water resource problem and problem-solving approaches involving urban drainage engineering design, flood and drought management, flood forecasting and warning system, water resources systems analysis, and decision support system in water resources engineering.
